The End-of-Life Nursing Education Consortium (ELNEC) Project is a national end-of-life educational program administered by City of Hope National Medical Center (COH) and the American Association of Colleges of Nursing (AACN) designed to enhance palliative care in nursing.
This 3-day event (20 Contact Hours) includes the following topics: Pain Mnagement, Symptom Managment, Cultural Considerations, Loss, Grief, Bereavement, Communication, Ethical Issues, Chemotherapy at End-of-Life, Artificial Nutrition, Legal Aspects, Final Hours, Sharing your Knowledge. Participants must attend all 3 days.
